X-ray Photoemission Spectroscopy

The instruments available for the electron spectroscopy are the following:

• Leybold LHS 10/12 equipped with: hemispherical electron analyser, twin anode X-Ray source (Al, Mg), UPS and AES sources, delay line detector (2D-DLD), sample heater (800 °C) and cooler (-120 °C), sputtering source for cleaning and depth profiling, ultrapure gas inlet systems.
• PSI 5600LS equipped with: hemispherical electron analyser, monochomatic Al Kα X-ray source, multiple sample holder with programmable sequential measurements, variable angle sample orientation.
